The Hotel is located in the old Centre of Dublin just outside of the medieval city walls. 

It is situated between Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral and St Patrick’s Cathedral and close to the site of Dubh Linn (The Black Pool) from which the city received it's Viking name.

It lies on the edge of an area of the old city known as The Liberties, as they lay outside of the city walls. This area is also home to Dublin's Brewing and Distilling history.
